We are at our best when we are together.

Bridgeway Academy is building the future for children with autism and developmental disabilities.

Your support will help us transform our program to meet a deep community need.

Calm, but lively. Open, but safe. Our new building will be as unique as our students, our clients, and our families.

“We are going to provide a space that our children deserve to learn in, and that our staff deserves to work in…a place that meets their needs and removes obstacles to learning.”

— Abigail David, M.S., CCC/SLP | Co-Founder & Co-Executive Director

We are transforming the future of Bridgeway Academy for the students, clients, and families we serve.

Now in its 15th year, Bridgeway Academy has been successfully serving hundreds of children with autism and developmental disabilities in two aging and dilapidated buildings, leased from the Columbus City School district.

The roofs leak. Paint is peeling. There is no central air. Our buildings are inaccessible and in desperate need of costly repairs and updates.

Our students, families and staff deserve more.

What People Are Saying

“Since the boys started Bridgeway at such a young age, this is the only world they have been in. Our kids have not known bullying and have never known anything besides ‘they’re awesome’ because everyone at Bridgeway thinks they’re awesome,”

— Jen Baker, Jack & Ben’s Mom

“I will never be able to express enough gratitude to Bridgeway Academy for going the extra mile (okay, more like marathon) and making camp happen this summer. My boys NEEDED this. For their development, their mental health, and all of our sanity. We’re lucky to be part of Bridgeway .”

— Sarah Smalley, Brady & Ty’s Mom

“My son’s teacher, Ms. Campbell, has helped him overcome so many of his challenges, and I can’t say ‘thank you’ enough. He is now verbal, counting, telling time to the half-hour, READING, and so much more. Today, she is our big hero.”

— Kyleigh Maxwell, Deacon’s Mom
